Climate of Temecula
Temecula has a warm Mediterranean climate.
August is commonly the most blazing month of the year, with December being the coldest month. Most precipitation happens from November to March, with February being the wettest month. Winter storms bring moderate precipitation; however, extreme winter storms are regular.
The driest month is June. Yearly precipitation is 14.14 inches (359 mm). The morning marine layer is standard during May and June. From July to September, Temecula encounters a blistering, dry climate with a periodic North American monsoonal stream that builds stickiness and brings secluded tempests. The majority of storms are brief and produce minimal rainfall. Temecula has dry, gusty northeastern Santa Ana winds from late fall through early winter. Snowfall is uncommon in Temecula. However, it has occurred occasionally, even as recently as December 2014. On February 19, 2005, a rare F1 tornado struck a Temecula neighborhood.
Tourist attractions of Temecula
The Historic District Historic buildings, hotels, museums, event centers, specialized food stores, restaurants, boutiques, gift and collectible stores, and antique dealers make up Temecula’s downtown district. There is an outdoor farmers’ market in Old Town on Saturdays with about 70 to 80 local sellers. Extraordinary occasions, for example, the Rod Run car expo, the Art and Street Painting Festival, Santa’s Electric Parade Show, western days, and summer amusement, are held in Old Town. The nightlife in Old Town is also increasing.
The Temecula Valley Museum, located in Old Town, displays the local Native American tribe, local natural history, and municipal development. The Old Town City Hall is located in the heart of the historic district. The Old Town Temecula Community Theater, a 354-seat proscenium theatre, and The Merc, a 48-seat BlackBox performance space adjacent to the main theatre, are located in Old Town.
